International Online Abacus Competition (IOAC) 2022 is announced. Free and open to all students aged 6 to 12 years globally, simply register and choose your category as per your Abacus proficiency level and you are all set for participating in this amazing event. This highly anticipated event is organised by Learners Academy, Australia and powered by Memory Abacus Lab.

Competition Groups
Refer to the competition groups given below to see what’s included in each. You must select the right group for registration based on your level of Abacus proficiency.
Group A
Addition and Subtraction
Type I: 1 digit, 10 numbers
Type II: 2 digits, 5 numbers
Total: 25 questions
Time: 20 minutes
Group C
Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division
Type I: 1, 2, 3 and 4 digits, 10 numbers
Type II: Multiplication 3 and 4 digit by 1 digit
Type III: Division 2 and 3 digit by 1 and 2 digit
Total: 30 questions
Time: 20 minutes
Group B
Addition, Subtraction and Multiplication
Type I: 2 and 3 digits, 10 numbers
Type II: Multiplication 2 and 3 digit by 1 digit
Total: 30 questions

Group D
Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division
Type I: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 digits, 10 numbers

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can participate in IOAC?
Students aged between 6 – 12 years who have self-learned or have formal training in Abacus can participate in IOAC.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes, all participants will get the e-certificate by email. Toppers will receive achievement certificates by email.
Where can I participate in the competition?
You should take the exam on a PC/Laptop from your home, you must have access to internet.
Can I do the exam on a date other than the scheduled date of 22nd August, 2022?
No, the exam can only be attempted within the 24 hours of the scheduled date. Exam will be open from 22nd August, 2022 9:00AM to 23rd August, 2022 8:59AM AEST. Please plan accordingly.
When will we get more details on the process of exam and login details ?
You will receive detailed information on the process of the exam by email after the registrations have closed.
Is there a fee or charges for participation?
No, there is no fee or charge for participation in this event. The event is free.
How will I get the result?
You will receive your results by email. Toppers list will be available on our webpage as well.
Can I make more than one attempt for the exam?
No, you can only attempt the exam once. After you login, you must finish the exam and submit.
What is the purpose of International Online Abacus Competition?
Students participate in abacus competition to self-evaluate the proficiency achieved in abacus by competing with other students worldwide.
Do I need to be a student at Learners Academy or Memory Abacus Lab to join?
No, anyone aged between 6 to 12 years can join the competition.
